What MOSS Image Gen collects, why, who processes it, and how to delete it
Who We Are
MOSS Image Gen (mossimagegen.com) is an independent online image generator built on the open MOSS-Image model released by OpenMOSS. We are not affiliated with OpenMOSS. Questions about this policy go to support@mossimagegen.com.
Information We Collect
- Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not receive your Google password.
- Prompts and images: the prompts you write and the images generated for you are stored with your account so you can see them in your history and download them again.
- Payment information: purchases are processed by Stripe. We receive a payment confirmation, the amount, and the credit pack you bought. We never see or store your card number.
- Credit records: your credit balance and a log of credits added, spent, and returned.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and request logs that our hosting provider keeps for security and troubleshooting.
- Usage statistics: anonymous page-view counts from a self-hosted, cookie-free Plausible Analytics instance. It does not receive your email, prompts, images, or payment details.
How We Use Your Information
- To sign you in and keep your account secure
- To generate images from your prompts and keep your history
- To process purchases, add credits, and handle refunds
- To answer support requests
- To prevent abuse, fraud, and service misuse
- To understand which pages are useful, using aggregate statistics only
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Service Providers
We share only the data each provider needs to do its job:

Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your account, prompts, images, and credit records while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Security. This removes your account, generation history, and credit records from our database. To have stored image files erased as well, or to request a copy of your data, email us. Stripe keeps its own payment records as tax and accounting law requires.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls. No online service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above.
